What are your health, saftey and covid-19 protocols?

At Banyan Massage we’re taking every precaution to keep our staff and clientele safe and healthy. We are following all regulations and guidelines laid out by the Hawaii State Government and the CDC. The majority of our staff is fully vaccinated and you may request to be scheduled with a fully vaccinated therapist if you wish.

Current health and safety protocols:

  • We are open by appointment only and staggering appointment times to provide ample time to thoroughly sanitize between each client. The massage table headrest and all massage equipment is sanitized between each appointment.
  • Masks are optional however yo may request that your therapist wear one. We can provide a mask if you need one.
  • We are running an air purifier in the massage room at all times.

 

How do I schedule an appointment?

The quickest and most efficient way to book an appointment is online through our website here.

By phone ~ Call us at 808-969-1044 to speak to a therapist or leave a message with your phone number loudly and clearly so we can call you back.

By email ~ Email us at banyanmassagehale@gmail.com or use our contact form. Include the dates and times when you would like to schedule a massage and we will promptly return your message.

Where are you located and where can i park?

Our office is located within the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel on Banyan Dr. The address is 71 Banyan Dr., Suite 115. The hotel is right next to Liliuokalani Park. Our office is two doors to the left of the entrance to the lobby when you are facing the hotel from the outside. There is plenty of parking at the hotel. You can park in any of the spots in front of the lobby or next to or underneath the building. We are wheelchair accessible.

Should I come early?

It is not necessary to arrive early. We recommend that you arrive no more than 5 minutes early as the door is locked between clients while we are sanitizing and preparing the space for the next appointment. New clients are asked to fill out an intake form that is sent via text and/or email prior to your appointment. Filling this out in advance is advised as it will save you from having the time it takes to fill it out cut into your appointment time. If you do not fill it out in advance you will be giving the form to fill out when you arrive.

What do I wear?

You may wear whatever you wish! No special attire is necessary.

Do I need to disrobe?

You may undress to your comfort level. Undergarments may be left on though oil is generally used on the back so bras are best removed. You will be securely draped at all times so as to maintain your privacy and comfort.

What if I am insecure about my body?

Massage therapists are sensitive and caring professionals who are non-judgmental in regards to your weight, skin, amount of hair, etc. We are here to provide a safe and compassionate space in which you can fully relax and receive healing touch.
